Abstract

After World War II (1939-1945), international relations were influenced by the Cold War situation between the United States and the Soviet Union. The policies of United States towards Cuba under President D. Eishenhower (1959-1961) was also affected by that situation. Eishenhower’s government has implemented some new policies on Cuba, which was featured in severing diplomatic relations and applying partial embargo
