Digital transformation in education and developing digital competency in teaching activities for teachers

Abstract

The article reflects and analyzes the characteristics and development trends of education and educational technology in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0 and the digital transformation process in the modern education, and analyzes the conceptual contents about digitization, digital technology, digital transformation, and structure of digital competence in the teaching operations of teachers at the general structure of teacher’s professional competence and measures. The author gives a path to develop digital competence in teaching activities of teaching staff in the educational system.
