Abstract

Experiential teaching is a method in which teachers encourage learners to participate in practical experiences. It focuses on the formation of learners' capacity through practice in accordance with the psychological principles to shape and develop students' personality. The model of educating traditional cultural values for high school students through experiencing trade villages refers to organizing educational activities in which the teachers work as organizers and moderators. Students simultaneously can directly learn, observe, visit, try making traditional products, give presentations, take part in contests to learn about villages and their products. Thereby they will grasp and understand the traditional values as well as cultural history of the locality and of the nation.
