About the Journal

The Vietnamese Journal of Dermatology and Venereology, published by the Vietnam Dermatology Association, issues four volumes annually in either Vietnamese or English.

The journal’s mission is to disseminate and exchange knowledge in the field of dermatology; to publish scientific research; and to facilitate the transfer of technology, economics, and technical expertise related to dermatology.

Its scope encompasses scientific articles, reviews, and clinical case reports relevant to dermatology both domestically and internationally. The journal publishes studies on disease patterns, diagnostic methods, treatment approaches, prevention strategies, and rehabilitation in dermatological practice. In addition, it features comprehensive reviews, updates on knowledge and guidelines for diagnosis and treatment, as well as reports of notable clinical cases in dermatology from Vietnam and abroad.

Recognized as a reputable specialty journal in dermatology, all scientific articles submitted undergo rigorous peer review by at least two experts. The editorial board consists of distinguished scholars—including professors, associate professors, doctors of philosophy, and medical doctors—ensuring the quality, objectivity, and scientific integrity of the published work.
