In Vietnam, the flow of migrant workers is increasing dramatically, especially those from rural areas to urban areas and industrial zones. On analyzing some basic information about two groups of female migrants, one working in industrial and processing zones and the other engaging in self-employment, the article discusses the uncertainties and risks that female migrant workers are facing, thereby, making some suggestions to improve their life quality.
