On efficiency of state - owned enterprises reform in Vietnam today
Abstract
State - owned enterprises reform is one of central issues of process of restructuring of Vietnamese economy in recent time, and was started by Resolution of 4th Conference of 11th Central Committee of Party in 2011 and Project 929 of Government in 2012. After more than 5 years of implementation, process of state - owned enterprises reform has achieved remarkable results, but there are still many limitations and insufficiences. For the process of state - owned enterprises reform to reach desired results, it must evaluate objectively the implementation situation and consider the insufficiences, especially it is extremely necessarily to evaluate the efficiency of activities of state businesses after being restructed. This paper evaluates the efficiency of process of state - owned enterprises reform during more than 5 recent years, using important criteria related to the efficiency of activities of state - owned enterprises reform and their contribution ratio to economic growth of country.
