Abstract

Institutional reform is just a most encountered problem in Vietnam today. Despite the great achievements of country after 30 years of renovation, especially the positive results from resolving the socio-economic problems in recent years, we have to recognize the fact, seen from the institutional reform perspective, that now there are the common attitudes of uncontentedness, insecureness and worryness… This paper points out seven problems that determine the real situation of country today, as well as the trend and speed of development, such as: 1) public debts; 2) economic dependence; 3) change of development model; 4) corruption; 5) environment and natural resources; 6) social issues; and 7) problem of East Sea - an inseparable problem of national consciousness. Besides that, this paper also points out the development trend of country in the coming time.
