Research on the growth of Dinh lang plants (Polyscias fruticosa L. Harms) in the sandy soil of Phu Yen province

Abstract

The research on the growth of Dinh lang plants (Polyscias fruticosa L. Harms) in the sandy soil of Phu Yen province was designed on 15 treatments with 3 densities and 5 different levels of fertilizer. The results show that Dinh Lang plants (Polyscias fruticosa L. Harms) grow well in the sandy soil environment of Phu Yen province. Particularly, the plants grow best at the density M1 (30,000 plants/ha) and with a combination of P3 fertilizer (150 kg urea + 190 kg superphosphate + 80 kg KCl + 5000 kg HCVS)/ha. After 12 months, the height of the largest plant was 75.07 cm, the number of branches was 24.40 branches/tree, the number was 411.0 leaves/tree, the foliage diameter was 93.66 cm and the trunk diameter was 4.87 cm.
