Significance the construction and operation of coastal defenses along Phu Yen province in the 19th century
Abstract
The construction and operation of Phu Yen coastal defenses in the 19th century always had practical significances. In Phu Yen, since the 19th century, the coastal defenses had strong links with the national defense system of the country, playing an important role in the economic development, social stability, security and defense maintenance for Phu Yen province and the whole country. From such foundations, this issue has contributed to the cause of constructing and protecting the country at present, as well as protecting the sovereignty over the sea and all the islands of the country.
