Aesthetic tendency of Song Tinh Bat Da and Hoa Tien Truyen

Abstract

“Song Tinh Bất Dạ” and “Hoa tiên truyện” are the two literary works of advanced ideal and aesthetic tendency. That advancement was expressed within the scope of feudalism with the advent of free individual love. By the use of unnatural elements, the authors rationalized the simultaneous existence of the two seemingly radical contradictory elements. By that way, Nguyễn Hữu Hảo and Nguyễn Huy Tự have created the works that have gone beyond the times and their values still remain until now.
