Chro’s economic activities through the prism of the Rational Choice Theory

Abstract

Within the contemporary socio-economic context, the integration process, cultural contacts and interferences has led to certain changes of traditional culture. As one of manifestations of the ethnic culture, the economic activities of Chro people have also been undergoing through some changes during their exchange activities and contacts with Kinh ethnic people, as well as the positive impacts of Protestantism and Catholicism, the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State. In such a changing process, there has been a decrease of some traditional elements and receipt of some new elements, all of which has gradually changed the appearance of their economic activities.
