The national natural landscapes along the coastline of Phu Yen province – characteristics and great values for tourism development

Abstract

Phu Yen has a coastline of 189 kilometers long, with a variety of curves, lagoons, bays and peninsulas creating beautiful natural landscapes, including six scenic spots recognized as the national landscapes. This article presents the natural landscapes’ characteristics and analyses their unique and prominent values for tourism development, as well as proposes some remedies for maximum exploiting the potentials of such a coastal landscape system for Phu Yen tourism development.
