A new taxane diterpenoid compound isolated from the barks of Taxus wallichiana Zucc. (Taxaceae)

Abstract

From the F fraction of the dichloromethane extract of the Taxus wallichiana Zucc (Taxaceae) barks, collected in Lam Dong province, a new taxane diterpenoid compound was isolated, called 2,5-diacetoxy-10-methoxy-14-(2’-methyl-3’-hydroxy)butyryl-oxy-4(20),11-taxadiene. This is a new unpublished compound in the world. The chemical structure of this compound was determined by 1D and 2D NMR spectra and comparison with the published data.
