Phu Yen tourism in developmental relationship with the region Central Highlands and South Central Vietnam

Abstract

The tourism industry is now playing an important part in the country's economic development. In Phu Yen, tourism has gradually been affirming its contribution to the local socio-economic development, creating jobs and attracting a huge source of labor force. Linking with surrounding areas to create unique tourism products is a matter of major local concern. This paper presents the current situation of tourism cooperation and the cooperation between Phu Yen province and the Region of South Central Coast and Central Highlands. At the same time, some solutions are provided to maximize the tourism potentials and strengths of each locality and the whole region.
