The language used in the short stories by Nhat Linh, Khai Hung on the trend of developing Tu Luc Van Doan’s artistic prose language – from a narrative perspective

Abstract

 Nhat Linh and Khai Hung are the two writers specializing in using artistic prose language. However, each writer had his own strengths and weaknesses in showing how particular discourses are expressed in their writing styles. From the aspect of a narrative study, the article gives some comments on the narrative discourse characteristics in short stories by Nhat Linh and Khai Hung in terms of language innovations by Tu Luc Van Doan. And the language used in short stories - from the perspective of how narrative discourses are combined artistically - is also an important aspect of Nhat Linh and Khai Hung’s contribution in language innovation trends carried out by Tu Luc Van Doan.
