Abstract

The exploitation of geographical indication trademarks in Thua Thien Hue Province has achieved significant milestones. Presently, there are 5 certified geographical indication trademarks and 49 protected collective trademarks. These trademarks have contributed to elevating the value and quality of local products, while also driving economic and tourism development. However, there exist several limitations primarily stemming from organizational capacity and product promotion. This article focuses on studying and proposing solutions to enhance the effectiveness of geographical indication trademarks in Thua Thien Hue Province, aiming to augment economic value.
