Application of provisions of “force majeure” and “performance of contract upon the basic change of circumstances” under Covid-19 epidemic in Vietnam

Abstract

The article analyzes and comments on a number of issues related to the application of the provisions of "force majeure” and "performance of contract upon the basic change of circumstances provisions" under the Civil Code 2015 in the circumstances the economy is negatively affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. Moreover, the article also refer the author’s opinion on adjusting the contractual relationship in the face of the current epidemic.
