THE DEVELOPMENT OF VIETNAMESE VOCABULARY FOR FOREIGNERS BY MINDMAP

This article analyzes the theoretical bases, thereby proposing ways to develop
Vietnamese vocabulary for foreigners using mind maps and statistics of the initial survey
results of using them to teach and establish Vietnamese vocabulary for foreigners at The
University of Sciences and Education - University of Danang. Research results have
confirmed the positive effects of using mind maps quickly, effectively, and scientifically
accumulating words. In addition, mind maps help foreigners develop topics into a system
of ideas and organize content coherently and scientifically, create an environment to
practice the use of words in the context, and improve the ability to speak and write
Vietnamese for foreigners.
