Abstract

Abstract: This article provides a systematic analysis of legislative thinking in the
country’s new context. It clarifies the concept, constituent elements, characteristics,
and substantive scope of legal thinking; the content, context, and key requirements for
renewing legal thinking; the current state of legislative thinking in Viet Nam;
international experiences in renewing legislative thinking and lessons for Viet Nam;
and, finally, the perspectives, objectives, tasks, and solutions for renewing legislative
thinking in the country’s new development era.
