Based on the results of recent field trips and surveys, the article initially outlines the transformation of Buddhism in Vietnam in terms of the fundamental changes of Buddhist faith, practice, and community. The current transformation of Buddhism in Vietnam is much stronger in comparison with 15 years ago. It is a consequence of the economic, political, social impacts and Buddhists themselves
