DECORATIVE ENAMELLED ART ON THE ARCHITECTURE OF KING THIỆU TRỊ’S TOMB
Thiệu Trị King’s Tomb was an important work in the system of royal tombs of the Nguyễn Dynasty in Huế, and was also a relic of the Monuments Complex of Huế Ancient Capital that had been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage in 1993. Because Thiệu Trị King’s Tomb contains many values in terms of history, culture, art, architecture, and decoration. In particular, where the art of decorative enamels reached a high aesthetic, rich and diversified structure, in which many popular images such as dragons, Four saisons, Eight Treasures,... All have been shown the fusion of colorful and extremely splendid decorative patterns, contributing to a unique style and art.
