ETHNIC RELATIONS, ETHNIC GROUP IN COASTAL PROVINCES OF THE SOUTHERNMOSST CENTRAL AREA

Abstract

The coastal provinces of Southernmost Central area have an important position in the development of the country. In this region, apart from Kinh people who are the majority ethnic group, local ethnic minorities such as Cham, Ra-glai, Cho-ro and a number of other ethnic groups, including later emigrants (such as Hoa, Nung,...) have settled, lived and have relationships, forming a multi-ethnic population structure rich in traditional identities and values. In the process of development, ethnic relations here have diversified, complicated and interwoven developments within the region, across regions and across countries. In the current context of globalization and integration, well-promoted ethnic issues and ethnic relations are always the driving force of development, on the contrary, to be an opportunity for conflicts between ethnic groups, ethnic group. Clarifying ethnic relations in terms of marriage, friends and neighbors; through social assistance; through language communication and through ethnic relations of local ethnic groups in the coastal provinces of the southernmost central area in development in order to identify a number of ethnic issues, regulating ethnic relations and building a block of national unity towards the goal of national defense and development, sustainable development in the southernmost central area today.
