PRESERVING AND PROMOTING THE CULTURAL VALUES OF THE CO TU PEOPLE IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF HAMLET/VILLAGES AND HOUSE (AGRONG HAMLET, ATIENG COMMUNE, TAY GIANG DISTRICT, QUANG NAM PROVINCE)

Abstract

Nowaday, when the trend of industrialization - modernization, urbanization and integration becomes more and more extensive, the risk of traditional cultural elements is changed and gradually lost its value exist in many resident communities, ethnic groups. This is not only found in the resident communities, ethnic groups residing along big cities, large commercial and industrial centers in the plains, but also in the resident communities, ethnic groups living next to the towns, population centers, district administration..., in border areas, remote areas. This paper focuses on clarifying some of the issues raised during the cultural transformation of the Co Tu community in Agrong village, Atieng commune, Tay Giang district, Quang Nam province, in the construction of villages/hamlets and houses, under the impact of the process of forming and developing district administrative centers, from 2005 to the present (2019), at the same time, proposing some solutions to preserve and promote the traditional cultural values of them in the future.
