THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL BASIS RELATED TO THE RESEARCH SITUATION OF USING LANGUAGE IN ETHNIC MINORITY AREAS OF VIETNAM - SOME ISSUES ON SOCIAL MULTI-LANGUAGE

Abstract

Vietnam is a multi-ethnic and multilingual country. Due to residence intertwined between the peoples, so now, under the impact of a series of linguistic and social factors in ethnic minority areas, multilingual communities are formed and developed day by day a strong, diverse. Accordingly, the languages exist and use very flexible, constantly fluctuating. Therefore, the research does social multilingual in ethnic minorities is very necessary. Research results research to contribute to sustainable development of ethnic minority areas and construction national policies in general and language policies in particular our country in the period of urbanization, globalization and international integration.
The article presents some topical content about multilingual society, both theoretically and practically, in Vietnam, including content: Clarify the concept of social multilingual with interconcepts. The thesis also points out the characteristics and
consequences of this phenomenon. This can be considered as a basis and orientation for research and surveys specifics and problems with the use of language at ethnic minorities in Vietnam today.
