GENDER EQUALITY IN THE FIELD OF LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT OF ETHNIC MINORITIES IN VIETNAM

Abstract

Ethnic minorities and mountainous areas occupy two-thirds of the country's natural area, which is a particularly important strategic location for political, socio-economic and national security. However, this is still the most difficult region of the country, the intellectual level is still low, the socio-economic conditions develop slowly, the rate of poor households is still high; Especially, gender equality in labor and employment of ethnic minorities is now. Therefore, the study proposes solutions to create jobs for ethnic minority workers in association with effective gender equality in the field of labor and employment of ethnic minorities in order to contribute to economic development - society, ensuring national defense and security and protecting the ecological environment of ethnic minority and mountainous areas are essential in the current context.
