Effects of demecolcine and oocyte maturation time on the efficiency in the production of Vietnamese pot-bellied pig embryos

Abstract

The results of this study showed that the concentration of Demecolcine affected efficiency in the production of Vietnamese pot-bellied pig embryos. The 4 μM Demecolcine group resulted in a greater oocyte extrusion cones rate in comparison to 0, 6, and 8 μM groups (72.03 vs 1.98%, 59.42, and 51.01%, p<0.05, respectively).
