Abstract
This article tests the cause-and-effect relationship between the export performance of the electronic integrated circuits manufacturing industry with investment capital from Vietnam’s foreign direct investment sector. The VAR model and Granger causality test based on Vietnam’s annual time-varying data from 2000 to 2020 are used. Analysis results show that the electronic integrated circuits manufacturing industry has played an important role in promoting investment capital for the entire society of FDI sectors; and vice versa.
