Study on some epidemiological features of Classical swine fever in the Northern provinces of Viet Nam
Abstract
The study was conducted in all districts of four Northern provinces occurring Classical swine feverin the period 2014 - 2017. The epidemiological indicators were determined basing on the epidemic
reports from Sub-DAHs and field survey information. The studied result showed that the infection
rate and circulation of cholera in pig was relatively low, such as: 0.012%, 0.026%, and 0.017% in
2014, 2015, and 2016, respectively. In the period from 2015 to 2016, the annually average epidemic
coefficient in 4 provinces was 1.05 and 1.26, respectively. In 2014 and early 2017, this coefficient
was less than 1. In the year, there were 6 consecutive epidemic months, occurring mainly in the
winter - spring months
