Abstract
This study was conducted to isolate and identify some respiratory pathogens including Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Haemophilus parasuis, Pasteurella multocida and Bordetella bronchiseptica based on testing the nasal fluid and lung samples from swine with respiratory disease symptoms. The studied results showed that from a total of 130 pig nasal fluid and lung samples, 42 isolates of all 4 types of bacteria were isolated and identified, accounting for 32.3%. The isolation rate of Haemophilus parasuis, Pasteurella multocida, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Bordetella bronchiseptica was 11.5%, 6.9%, 9.2% and 4.6%, respectively. The isolated bacteria rate from the lung and nasal fluid samples was 17.7% and 14.6%, respectively.
