Abstract

A study on immune response of black chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus brisson) vaccinated
by H5N1 Re-6 and Navet-Vifluvac vaccines in Tien Giang province was conducted through
Hemagglutination Inhibition test using experimental black chicken serum samples. The studied
result showed that the protective rate of passive antibodies in one-day old chicken in the
treatment 1 (H5N1 Re-6 vaccine) and the treatment 2 (Navet-Vifluvac) was 60% and 65%
respectively. The protective rate of passive antibodies of the chickens at 14 days old chicken in
the treatment 1 and treatment 2 was 40% and 50% respectively.
The protective rate of the black chickens after one month vaccinating H5N1 Re-6 vaccine  in the treatment 1 for the chickens at 30 days old, 60 days old, 90 days old , 120 days old, 150
days old and 180 days old was 16%, 65%, 85%, 85%, 75% and 65% respectively. Similarly in
the treatment 2, after one month vaccinating Navet-Vifluvac vaccine, the protective rate of the
chickens at 30 days old, 60 days old, 90 days old, 120 days old, 150 days old and 180 days old
was 25%, 85%, 95%, 85%, 80% and 55% respectively.
The studied results showed that the ability of chickens in creating immune response after
vaccinating H5N1 Re-6 vaccine was faster and higher than that of Navet-Vifluvac vaccine.
