Abstract
Since 1975, the migration of ethnic minorities in Vietnam has been quite strong, taking place in diverse forms. Since 1986, a large number of ethnic minority people from the northern mountainous provinces have moved to the Central Highlands. Migration of ethnic minority people affects the social environment in various aspects, such as village community activities, clans, education, health care, and cultural activities. The impact of ethnic minority migration on the social environment has both positive and negative factors which are intertwined and diversified.
