Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Vietnam Today

Abstract

    In recent years, Vietnam's business environment has undergone fundamental changes to create favourable conditions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to develop. To date, SMEs account for 96.7% of the total number of enterprises nationwide. The growth in quantity, operational scale, and internal strengths of the SME sector exerts a great impact, making an important contribution to the country's socio-economic development and international integration processes.
