Viet Nam’s international trade in the current context

Abstract

In recent years, Viet Nam has made significant achievements in foreign trade. Despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Vietnam has recorded and maintained a trade surplus and positive growth in the industry. However, due to the pandemic, the industry has been facing various challenges and obstacles such as the disruption in the global supply chains, drastic decline in the demands for goods and services, severe competition among exporters, and internal hindrance in manufacture and exports. This paper focuses on analyzing Viet Nam’s recent international trade and suggests some solutions to promoting the industry in the coming years.
