Marriage of the Bahnar people in Gia lai: traditions and changes

Abstract

Bahnar traditional culture has created the ethnic cultural diversity of Gia Lai province. In particular, the value of Bahnar marriage is an important factor, being inherited and promoted for building family happiness. The characteristics of Bahnar traditional marriage and its changes in Gia Lai are presented through the description and analysis of concepts, principles, residence forms and regulations to protect the sustainability of Bahnar marriage. The research results are the basis for further research on the core values of Bahnar marriage.
