FERTILIZER INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT IN VIETNAM MARKET

Abstract

Vietnam has 90% of the population work in the agricultural sector, despite the restructuring of the economy, but arable land, keeps rising and the government has also driven for investors, farmers agricultural populations towards high technology. With such specific fertilizer demand in Vietnam is huge and constantly shifting product mix. Vietnam fertilizer industry does not have to meet the domestic demand in both quantity and quality. Recently Vietnam fertilizer industry has made significant strides especially urea and DAP fertilizers (urea is already sufficient for the domestic market and to export surplus, DAP was approaching the need domestic demand). However the remaining fertilizers still very severe shortage and we almost entirely on imports. Fertilizer market research enables us to get a comprehensive overview of the Vietnam Fertilizer industry thereby helping investors to business planning.
