POWER SHARING CONTROL IN ISLANDED MICROGRID BY IMPROVED DROOP CONTROL

Abstract

This paper proposes a power sharing method for inverters in parallel in the islanded microgrid. The proposed method included the droop control with virtual impedance and the algorithm for estimating the voltage drop due to the line impedance to increase the accuracy of reactive power sharing in the islanded microgrid. The effect of local loads on reactive power sharing was also considered in this paper. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method was demonstrated by simulation results on Matlab/Simulink.
