USING NUMBERICAL SIMULATION METHOD TO INVESTIGATE THE PARAMETERS AFFECTING THE OPERATION OF PNEUMATIC BRAKE SYSTEM ON TRUCK

Abstract

Today, trucks are very popular in the world. Therefore, the study and
evaluation of the pneumatic brake system on trucks should be concerned.
Recently, there have been some studies on the braking performance of pneumatic
brake systems, but they often do not consider the distribution valve, one of the
critical components. Therefore, the results only partially describe the working
state of the system. In this paper, the author uses the numerical simulation
method to investigate some parameters affecting the operation of the pneumatic
brake system on a truck, including the influence of the distribution valve during
operation. The research results can be used to select and arrange the pneumatic
brake system on the truck.
