RESEARCHING SOLUTIONS TO INCREASE THE PENETRATION DEPTH OF 7.62x25MM FIREARM AMMUNITION

Abstract

With the development of material technology as well as the optimization of
the structure, the armors equipped for soldiers on the battlefield are more and
more resistant to penetration, ensuring the safety of users against attacks.
Performance of some existing handgun ammunition. In practice in our army
today, the commanding officer is equipped with a K54 pistol to destroy physical
targets at close range. Therefore, in order to increase the ability to damage the
opponent with handgun bullets, it is necessary to have solutions to optimize the
warhead, increase the depth of armor penetration. The article presents the results
of research on solutions to increase the armor penetration depth of 7.62x25mm
gun bullets.
