Abstract

There have been many studies on the ability of heterotrophic nitrification -
aerobic denitrification Bacillus sp. In this study, Bacillus sp. in the form of
a microbial product was used to evaluate its ability to treat wastewater from Sai
Gon Peal apartment at the laboratory scale using an aerobic granular sludge
model at different microbial concentrations (2.7x107
CFU/mL; 0.93x108
CFU/mL
và 1.8x109
CFU/mL). The results showed that at a microbial concentration of
about 0.93x108
CFU/mL, organic load 0.48kg COD/m3
.day, MLSS = 2500mg/L, and
HRT = 6h, the highest removal efficiency of pollutants (COD removal
efficiency reached 86%, Nitrogen: 74%, N-NH4
+: 91%) and N-NH4
+ was achieved,
meeting the standards of QCVN 14:2008/BTNMT, column B.
