APPLICATION OF MATLAB SIMSCAPE SOFTWARE FOR SIMULATION AND ASSESSMENT OF ELECTRIC CAR

Abstract

The object of this study is for pure electric vehicles powered by electric motors
only. The simulation method is to build an electric vehicle energy model including
different components and MATLAB Simscape software used. Simulation
conditions are under the same specified operating conditions of the same time,
speed and slope. The purpose and results of the simulation is to find out the
energy consumption of an electric vehicle when there are forces acting on the
vehicle in order to determine the technical state of the vehicle. Expand the survey
of some other electric vehicles available in the world today to compare the
technical status of similar vehicles.
