STUDY ON CHANGING OF PROPERTIES AFTER MULTIPLE WASHES OF CHILDREN'S CLOTHING IN RETAIL MARKET OF VIETNAM

Abstract

Children are a special customer in the market of fashion. They are the future
of the family and the country, so they are been take care so much. The children
have a lot of movement and activities, so the children's clothes are washed a lot
of times.The product must have a long life cycle, the clothes used must be longlasting, less damaged, silver color, etc…. Therefore, in this paper, the structural
characteristics of the fabric, color fastness and elasticity of the fabric after
wahing 50 times, elasticity of the fabric when used as children's clothing. The
samples are purchased from local markets in Hanoi and a sample buyed in goods
manufacturing company in Hanoi. The research results show that the fabrics
used to make children's clothing are knitted fabrics with small and medium of
the weight, fabric density are good. The color fastness and washability of fabrics
are also presented in the study. The research results mainly investigate the
properties affecting the aesthetics of the product.
