A STUDY ON HARVEST ENERGY SYSTEM BASED ON PIEZO-SENSOR AND LTC3588 IC

Abstract

Human walking on the street or tire of vehicle on road can provide a
natural source of clean energy to serve our life. In this paper, we present
results of our experiment on harvest energy module based on PZT piezosensors and LTC3588 IC. The results show that it is possible to implement
lighting systems in public areas, such as, metro, railway station, airport or
commercial center. Extracted result from the module suggests that in order to
supply for 1000mAh accumulators for LED lighting, about piezoelectric
material area of 2.2m2 is needed.
