Abstract

Diesel exhaust gas contains some toxic components such as nitrogen oxides
(NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC), Particulate Matter (PM) and
sulfurcompounds, in which NOx are hard to reduce. To reduce NOx emissions, there
have been some technologies including EGR exhaust recirculation, NOx trap (Lean
NO
x trap) and NOxselective catalytic reduction after-treatment device (SCR)...
Nowadays, SCR technology is commonly applied on diesel engines that meet the
Euro 4 emission standard and upward. The SCR deviceis usually supplied by the
manufacturer that consists of a reducing solution (Adblue) injection system
associated with a catalytic core. This article focuces on the Adblue injection system
and the efficiency of SCR device that may be the basis for the SCR utilization as well
as for research and development this device in Vietnam.
