Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of different social capital
dimensions (i.e., structural, cognitive and relational capital) on supply chain
innovation supply chain performance. This study is based on the data of 121
companies in Hanoi and Bac Ninh, the research hypotheses are tested by structural
equation model (SEM). Empirical results show that two dimensions of social capital
(structural and cognitive capital) have positive impacts on supply chain innovation
and innovation has positive impact on supply chain performance. In addition, the
findings reveal that supply chain innovation plays a mediating role in the
relationship between social capital dimensions and supply chain performance.
