SMART GRID DEVELOPMENT IN VIETNAM: ISSUES AND SOLUTIONS

Abstract

Smart Grid is future indispendable modern power system in Vietnam and
over the world. At the present, there are numerous definitions of Smart Grid. In
this paper, typical definions of Smart Grid are summarized. Moreover, major and
strategic issues are recognized. The solutions to cope these issues are proposed
to foster transition process to Smart Grid in Vietnam.
