Abstract

Accumulation of heavy metals, especially lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd) in soil,
greatly affects human health. However, if the analysis of total metal content
does not reflect their impact on the soil environment, instead we must analyze
their existence and determine the specific content of such forms. The article uses
the Inductively Coupled Plasma - Optical Emission Spectrometer method (ICPOES) to analyze the content of existing forms of Pb, Cd in the soil. The detection
limit for the method for Cd is 1.29x10-3mg/l; with Pb: 1.42x10-3mg/l.
Quantitative limit of method for Cd: 4.30x10-3mg/l; with Pb: 4.74x10-3mg/l.
