Abstract

The ASEAN Economic Community was established in 2015 with the aim of creating a
stable, prosperous and highly competitive economy in which goods, services and investment are
freely circulated thus facilitating the relocation of skilled labor force. This will create opportunities
and challenges for trained personnel in general and human resources in business and
management in particular. In this paper, we applied the method of multivariate regression
analysis, intermediate variable analysis in order to determine the factors affecting learning
motivation of students and the quality of human resource training in business management,
banking and finance, and accounting. The results of this study show that there are four factors
which have positive influence on learning motivation of students namely (i) teaching staffs, (ii)
training programs, (iii) Practicing, and(iv) facilities of university. The result also reveals that learning
motivation mediates the the relationship among these factors and the training quality which is
close to professional standards.
