Study on the influence of some factors on sewing conditions to the time tudy of sub-processing of knitting garment workers by MTM and General Sewing Data

Abstract

This article presents the results of the research on the effect of the distance
moved by hand and the size of the semi-finished products to the time of subprocessing of knitting garment workers. In this study, MTM and the GSD
system were used to analyze the processing and timing of sewing operations.
Conducted experimental survey of the actual working time of garment
workers, the study uses Design Expert 6.0 software to analyze collected data
and determine the regression equation simultaneously influencing those two
factors to the real time value. Then it determines the adjustment factor
between the time value of the theoretical and experimental calculation.
Experimental results are the basis for determining the actual time of sewing
operations based on the theoretical time using the GSD system in garment
industry of Viet Nam.
