FFT numerical simulation and some approximation methods used to determine the elastic bulk modulus of composite two-phase matrix-inclusion materials
Abstract
This article introduces Fast fourier transformation method (FFT) andsome approximation methods to calculate the elastic bulk modulus of
matrix-inclusion circle model in two-dimensional space. The
application of FFT method in calculating the macroscopicelastic bulk
modulus of isotropic composite materials, in which inclusion have
periodic structure with square, hexagonal and random type in twodimensional space. Numerical results of FFT with volume-changed
proportions are compared with other approximation methods.
