Research on the designation of seating position on coaches manufactured and assembled in Vietnam

Abstract

Nowadays, coach is the popular mean of transport carrying passengers in
Vietnam. Over the past years, the Government has adopted many policies
to support the development of automobile assembly and production in the
country. So far, the number of coaches assembled in the country accounts
for 90% of the total coaches. This vehicle is the object to strict control of
the environment and safety, it should be controlled from the design stage.
In addition to the calculation about safety of dynamics, kinetic, durability
and the smoothy movement, the study of designation of seating position in
the coach is very important. This article presents results of reseach on the
designation of seating position on coaches assembled in Vietnam in
according to QCVN 09:2015/BGTVT and ensuring the distribution of the
mass on the axles, space in the passenger compartment, the ability to reach
each seating position from gangway, the ability to escape and the comfort
of passenger.
